What do we do?  We are an all volunteer board that sponsors or is actively involved in the following community events:

  • Summer Concert Series 2022
We promote tourism to Keosauqua by:
  • Advertising in multiple visitors’ guides and tourism publications throughout the state
  • Providing Corporate Sponsorship to the Villages of Van Buren
  • Producing and distributing Keosauqua brochures
  • Maintaining the Keosauqua website
We encourage local commerce through:
  • Keobucks coupons (over $17,000 last year), that ensure local spending
  • Advertising discounts to members through shop locally ads
  • KeoBuck & shopping promotions
We also work to enhance the community image – examples include:
  • Purchased the trash receptacles on First Street
  • Purchased Keosauqua welcome signs
  • Purchased downtown individual shop signs
