Van Buren County Hospital is a 25-bed, Critical Access hospital and is affiliated with the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. The hospital offers general acute care, skilled nursing, and long-term care to our community.
To meet the needs of our community, the hospital owns and operates 5 medical clinics located in Birmingham, Bonaparte, Cantril, Farmington, and Keosauqua. They also operate a 24/7 Emergency Department and a wide range of outpatient services, including cardiology and general surgery.
Village Terrace Assisted Living is connected to VBCH offering ten assisted living units, all handicapped accessible, Village Terrace fills the gap between completely independent living and a 24-hour care facility.
