Keosauqua, the county seat of Van Buren county is the largest of the "villages".

As it has been through its rich history, Keosauqua today remains a bustling business center.  The courthouse, county government offices and hospital are here.

It is also home to Barker Company Ltd., Barker Wire, and TigerHawk Plastics, all nationally known industries.
