Fall Festival of Colors

The second full weekend in October is an exciting time in Keosauqua with the community's annual Fall Festival of Colors being the featured event of the Fall Season. Thousands of visitors converge upon the area at a time that Fall Colors are at their peak, the air has a refreshing crisp feel, pumpkins are ripe for pickin' and the entire community is enjoying what for many of us is our favorite time of year.

Keosauqua's Fall Festival of Colors is one of many events taking place in the Villages of Van Buren that weekend as part of the Villages Scenic Drive Festival.

Scores of vendors will be set up in the city park and along the banks of the beautiful Des Moines River offering a spectacular assortment of craft and gift items, oak furniture, wearable items and much, much more. Food? Between our local restaurants and food vendors in the park, you won't go hungry . . . we promise! And you won't want to miss the Lions Club Pancake Breakfast each day 6-11AM.

This year's event takes place Saturday and Sunday, October 11th and 12th!  Mark your calendar now for this exciting Fall celebration!

You Won't Want to Miss This Event!

Thousands of Arts and Crafts will be displayed and sold throughout the community including the Roberts Memorial Center, Fire Station and Senior Center. A large flea market will also be set-up along the scenic banks of the Des Moines River. There will be carnival rides for the kids. The Grand Parade will start at 10AM on Saturday.
